Piñera visits home burned and announces that pension reform will include "chapter to help older adults"

After visiting the "Santa Marta" nursing home in Chiguayante and where 10 women died, President Sebastián Piñera announced the inclusion in the pension reform project of "a special chapter to help the elderly and especially to the elderly not worthy ".
"This has to call us to a deep reflection, in Chile we have more and more older adults, many of them are not worthy, who are prostrate, who can not stand on their own. I want to anticipate that in the pension reform project there will be a special chapter to help the elderly and especially the elderly not worthy, "said Piñera.
Then the President explained that "what we want is that as much as possible the State helps their families so that they can receive them in their bosom, because what an older adult wants most is to be close to their loved ones.

"Intentional" fire at storage in Maipu

On Thursday 30th, a large fire started in a stockpile of disused tires of the “Famaprica” Company, located in the sector of Rinconada, in the municipality of Maipú.
