Nicolas Jarry debut in the US OPEN

This Monday the Chilean debuts at the US Open and will do so by returning to the best ranking of his career.

It will have a new challenge. Nicolás Jarry debuts this Monday at the US Open, a contest in which he will be present for the first time in the main draw.From around 1:30 p.m., the Chilean tennis player will face the German Peter Gojowczyk.

The first national racket will debut in the four Grand Slam of the season returning to the best ranking of his career.

Thus, to beat the German, Jarry could have a difficult mission: He would face the 11th seeded championship, the American John Isner

Recall that this will be the second confrontation between the Chilean and Gojowczyk. In July the creole defeated him 6-1 and 6-2 at the ATP in Hamburg.

    Even though he lost in semi finals, I think that he made a great performance by almost wining to the 11th best player of the world.

    I think Jarry is a great player with lots of potential, and he has proven that in the past. We should be proud of him, that a natoonal young player is giving all to represent our country in one of the biggest tenis tournaments of the world. The Chilean Tenis Golden Age is coming back and Jarry is the leader. As chileans we must support Jarry as he is carrying the name of Chile and showing it all arounf the world. He is making history.

"Intentional" fire at storage in Maipu

On Thursday 30th, a large fire started in a stockpile of disused tires of the “Famaprica” Company, located in the sector of Rinconada, in the municipality of Maipú.  New fuel spill affects Puerto de Ventanas in              Puchuncaví This afternoon, during the maintenance works to the pipes of the company Enex, located in the Port of Ventanas de Puchucaví, a hydrocarbon spill occurred on the pier's floor that ended up falling into the sea. World Cup: Most important and viewed sports tournament

It is almost time for another World Cup to begin in Russia, but despite the content and main attraction that makes it exciting, i think that historically this tournament has become the most important for an specific sport worldwide.
