Chileans in malaysia
Two Chilean tourists have been in Sungai Buloh prison in Malaysia for nine months and could soon be sentenced to death after being accused of murder during a confusing Incident. Fernando candia and Felipe osidiacz are two young Chileans who, after working for a year in New Zealand, traveled to Southeast Asia on vacation. Newly arrived in Malaysia, they had a confrontation with a man who suffered cardiac arrest and died. As the malaysians believe in the talion law they think these two chileans should be excecuted, even though chilean law sees this act as legitimate defense by the behalf of the south americans, and consequently should be considered inocents.
