Using or abusing social media
For some years now, technology has evolved and social media has been a usual way of using this technology. But even before the technology we know and use nowadays, humans did communicate differently and in their own kind of "social media". First it was signals and noises, then languages, then written media, then telegraphs, then telephones, to the point that approximately 100 years ago computers didn't exist up to the 1940s the first "super computer" was created. Later on computer networks were developed, which led to the birth of the internet. About 50 years ago mobile phones weren`t yet created. And here we are now using internet at least 5 times per day, not only as an entertainment resource but as a way to impact in politics, economy, commerce, education, business, etc. But the one I want to highlight is society. Society uses social media in many different ways, and there are positive results such as being updated in current news, being able to learn new thing, communicating, etc. And there are also negative results such as cyberbullying, posting wrong information, stop having real human relationships outside from social media ones. You have the ability to use it anytime you want, for as long as you want, in any device you want, so I say; use it wisely.

ResponderEliminarI believe that just as human kind evolves its ways of comunicating do so too, and that social media plays a big role on our daily lives and our world views. Without social media this network that has been built between countries and people from the most varied corners of the world would not exist, and we would be oblivious to things so important such as the misile strike on Siria, which could mean the beginning of a world war. Even though social media can and will be used as a weapon, I believe it keeps us connected and informed and thus helps us develop points of view on important matters and that’s why it also, at this point, helps us become the individuals we are.
ResponderEliminarI would say that nowaday the social media is the most popular way to communicate, but it was not always like this. In the past there were almost no problem with abuse and making people suffer, but now with all the globalization, childs or even adults that have a type of problem have the option to so much damage if they want, so people have to be very carefull with this type of technology and us it with a good purpose.
