Smartphone addicton is real

As all of you already know, society now-a-days are addicted to their phones. Without knowing, we spend more than 5 hours daily looking at it. We don’t realize how much time we loose starring at our phones, this doesn’t mean that we are watching interesting things or learning new stuff. In fact, most of the time using our phones we are connected to social media apps like instagram, snapchat, twitter, and many more. I bet that most of you spend the whole day attached to your phones. Social apps make unsociable people, so let’s make a difference and put our phones away in order to disconnect to connect.

  1. I totaly agree with Josefina's argument. It is embarassing how a small device can keep us out of the real world for so long. An object that was once only used for communicating at long distances now seems to be the fastest and easiest way to do it. We have to be concerned of how much time we spend on this machines, but i don't think people could give up on their phones easily.

  2. Nowadays, every teenager and every kid have a smartphone. Children that had born on the 2000 or more, they first learn how to use an Ipad/Iphone... and then they learn how to walk. Technology is consuming us as human beings. If we continue letting the technology to determinate our lifes, in a few years, the world would be ruled by robots.

Even though the addiction to smartphones is a real problem in the youth, its not a problem of the device itself, its a problem of the parents that give access to these tools to their children at a very young age. To think that a couple of generations ago they had to send letters or telegraphs to do something that you do nowadays with your phone is just shocking. We need be in control of technology, not technology in control of us.
